Trinity Community Church Mission and Vision
Mission: Ordinary people, changed by Jesus, loving God and our neighbors (Matthew 28:18-20;
Matthew 22:37-39)
Vision: We will accomplish this by becoming:
1. A house of prayer, worship and healing (Matthew 21:13; Psalm 29:1-2; James 5:13-16)
2. A place—as well as a group of sent people—where the presence of God dwells by His
Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 12:13)
3. A safe haven, refuge and advocate for our community (Psalm 107:28-30; Psalm 18:2;
Psalm 46:1; Psalm 91:1-2; John 14:16)
4. A family for people to belong to, connect with and be supported by in the midst of a
broken world (John 1:12-13; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Matthew 25:34-40)
5. An environment where people are being discipled, growing Biblically, maturing in their
faith and utilizing their spiritual gifts (2 Timothy 2:2; Psalm 119:11, 105; Colossians 2:6-7; Romans 12:6-8)
6. A community where new people are coming to Jesus for the first time and where
evangelism is happening (Acts 2:46-47; Romans 10:14-15; 1 Peter 3:15-16; Matthew
9:37-38)
7. A church where all socio-economic statuses, decades, and ethnicities are present
(Galatians 3:28-29; Matthew 28:19; Colossians 3:11; John 3:16)
