WHY DO WE EXIST?
Our Mission Statement is: "Ordinary People, Changed by Jesus, Loving God and Our Neighbors."
This statement comes from the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-29) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

WORSHIP
Jesus said to a sinful woman at a well in Samaria, "true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." We believe in, and seek to worship God, in Spirit and in Truth. We believe that means worship that is inspiring, and centered on who God is as revealed by His Spirit, in the truth of the inspired Word of God, and in Jesus, the Truth!
Inspiring Worship
Join us Sundays at 10 am as we worship joyfully and share the truth of God's Word together, as well as connect and pray with one another.
PRAYER
In one of His final acts the week before His crucifixion, Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple and said, “My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers." We are committed to making Trinity Community Church a house of prayer. Prayer is powerful, and it is in prayer that we build an intimate relationship with God and intercede for one another.
Opportunities to Pray
In addition to encouraging people to develop their own personal time of prayer, we offer weekly opportunities to pray. Our Prayer Meeting on Tuesday nights is especially a powerful time praying together. We also pray Sunday mornings before our worship service--online and in person, and at almost all of our services and events. We also have a Prayer page on this website for requests or an opportunity to pray.
SERVE OTHERS
Every month our church hosts a food pantry! Please check our Events Calendar & Food Pantry page for more information. We also support many local ministries in our community, including Love INC, Good Neighbor Center, Portland Rescue Mission, and more.
Help Others
We need your help to accomplish this! If you would like to donate any food items please contact Pat Pearson, the lead person for our Food Pantry (503 686-3363) or leave a message on our church phone and we will get back to you. We also accept donations through all means, including our online giving on our website. Be sure to designate your gift to the Food Pantry. Help us feed others in our community that need a helping hand!
MAKE DISCIPLES
Before His return to heaven, Jesus told His disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” We also desire to be on mission with Jesus and to help others become devoted followers of Jesus.
Discipleship
We encourage people to develop an ongoing deep relationship with God, and also relationships with one another, as believers in Jesus. Through biblical instruction in our worship services, offering Bible studies, devotional times, and even in enjoying meals together we seek to facilitate these relationships.
